The Kalgoorlie City Centre is a multi-million dollar project that will create and transform a key precinct within the Kalgoorlie Central Business District into a vibrant, economically strong, and diverse centre.
Ertech was awarded the construction phase of the revitalisation project, which comprised two key areas.
St Barbara’s Square is the city centre’s new piazza, which includes a custom-designed canopy in the shape of the Super Pit, interactive water features, a bandstand with cover, alfresco areas, and high-end soft and hard landscaping.
St Barbara’s Laneway is a revitalised space that provides a safe, functional, and vibrant laneway. It includes bespoke playground equipment, a nature play area, a new toilet facility and storage area, and high-end soft and hard landscaping.
The revitalisation of the city centre supports economic development and trade by attracting locals, tourists and new businesses.
