Ertech was contracted to construct the site’s infrastructure bringing Ravensthorpe Nickel Mine to production. During construction, Ertech continued to provide services to the mine whilst working alongside the mine site’s operations.

Scope of Works
- Design and construct 18 evaporation ponds, tailing dams and settling ponds totalling 1,900,000m3 of bulk earthworks and 2,300,000m2 of HDPE liner
- Build and install a 1500-man construction camp, 300 man executive accommodation camp and all roads, paths and services
- Install 40km of 710mm diameter HDPE and 20km of 650mm diameter GROP seawater pipeline including valve and pumping stations
- Install 20km of miscellaneous HDPE pipework, access roads and other services, along with various concrete structures including footings, foundations, and slabs
- Sewage pump stations
