Onslow Community Boating Precinct

Ertech has been awarded the design and construct contract for Stage 1 of the upgrade to the Onslow Community Boating Precinct for the Department of Transport, Western Australia.

The team were able to demonstrate strong capability in similar design and construct projects and a track record in delivering projects in the Onslow region.

Works on the new two-lane boat launching facility include dredging, earthworks, rock revetment wall, the jetty and improvements to surrounding infrastructure.

The project kicks off in October 2021.

Scope of Works

Stage 1A of the project includes:

  • Construction of a dredged basin
  • Provision of unsealed hardstand area
  • Commencement of revetment wall
  • Final design and construction of the two-lane boat launching ramp including the finger jetty
  • Demolition and removal of the existing boat ramp
  • Extension of the drainage system to a nominal outflow in Beadon Creek to allow access to the hardstand  area
  • Provision of limited solar lighting to the hardstand area
