Muriel Henchman Park is a popular launching point for motorised and non-motorised craft accessing Marine Stadium, the Broadwater, Gold Coast Seaway, and the open ocean.

As part of The Spit Master Plan implementation, our client Gold Coast Waterways Authority engaged Ertech to upgrade the boat ramps and the existing pontoon and to add a floating walkway. Parking, pathways, landscaping, and public amenities will also be improved.

Some of the benefits of this project will be improving vessel launching areas that provide safe and efficient arrangements for launching and retrieving vessels, increasing the number of boat ramp lanes to cater for more traffic movements, especially during peak periods, adding additional parking bays for cars and cars with boat trailers, new public amenities, shade shelter, pathways, landscaping, and park embellishments as well as a dedicated area for community clubs to meet and safely store their equipment.
