New Project Win! M6 Stage One Community Recreation Facilities
Ertech’s New South Wales team has secured an exciting project with Transport for NSW’s M6 Stage 1 Project to deliver community recreation facilities within the McCarthy Reserve / Ador Park Precinct in Rockdale and Brighton-Le-Sands.
Project Overview:
The scope of works includes:
McCarthy Reserve / Ador Park Precinct, Rockdale
- Upgrade the full-sized sports field from grass to synthetic turf;
- A new mid-sized turf sports field;
- A new public vehicle access point and new car park with increased capacity;
- A new skate park;
- New playground facilities;
- New pedestrian bridge and an addition to the existing bridge;
- New pedestrian and cyclist shared path;
- Lighting around the sports fields, skate park and car park;
- A new amenities building with change rooms, kiosk and bathroom facilities and a new toilet block;
- Fencing, tree planting and landscaping.
Brighton Memorial Playing Fields, Brighton-Le-Sands
- Upgrade the full-sized sports fields from grass to synthetic turf;
- A new mid-sized grassed turf sports field;
- New amenities building;
- New playground facilities;
- Upgraded car park with increased capacity;
- Lighting around the sports fields and car park;
- Fencing, tree planting and landscaping.
The project is due to start in August and will continue to mid-2021.
