M1 Exit 45 Interchange

Project Overview

The project involves the upgrade of the southbound off-ramp at Exit 45 on the M1 Pacific Motorway in Ormeau. This motorway is one of the busiest and most high-profile roads in Queensland carrying over 100,000 vehicles per day in each direction.

The project objectives include easing congestion, reducing travel times and improving safety through a new signalised intersection at Lahrs Road and Zupp Drive.

In addition, a new left-turn slip lane and acceleration lane to the existing Exit 45 southbound off-ramp was constructed, allowing traffic bound for the Yatala industrial precinct to bypass the eastern interchange roundabout.
