project overview

The Mt Lindesay Highway Interchange located at Munruben provided improved safety and traffic flow through the construction of a grade separated interchange at Chambers Flat Road and Crowson Lane intersection with Mt Lindesay Highway.

scope of works

The scope of works included:

  • Duplication of Mt Lindesay Highway;
  • Construction of a four span bridge over the highway linking Crowson Lane and Chambers Flat Road;
  • Construction of service roads with on and off ramps from the highway to Crowson Lane and Chambers Flat Road;
  • Realignment of Crowson Lane and Chambers Flat Road;
  • Excavation of over 180,000m3 of material within the roadway area;
  • Insitu stabilised pavements using 3% cement;
  • Installation of multiple cell box culverts under the highway;
  • Major drainage and retention basins;
  • Fauna fencing and landscaping;
  • Streetlighting.
